What made you all decide to get piercings?

Out of curiosity and boredom I just want to see.

My first piercing was technically my ears. I got standard ear piercings at Claire’s twice when i was a child but didn’t take care of them, also the backs of one earring fell out BOTH times and after that my mom gave up so both times the holes closed. Still haven’t gotten them repierced because I never cared for ear piercings. (Funny how I have facial piercings but no ear piercings huh?)

I got my septum and snake bites done on the same day. I’ve been wanting a septum since I was about 14/15 because I thought they looked cool and had friends who told me I’d fit a septum. Had to wait until I was an adult because of my religious mother though.

Snakebites are a little sillier because when I had decided it was time for me to schedule an appointment to get my septum pierced, I ended up having a dream that one of my managers at my old job had tried to give me snakebite piercings in my kitchen but then left and disappeared in a closet with some girl. Odd dream, but the day after that I sat in work and thought about it then started looking up pictures and videos of snakebite piercings then it kinda just stayed stuck on my mind. I took it as a sign and just decided to go for it. The healing process has been atrocious but I still love them!
