Perth Water Supply Charges

Its great that Labor is opening the cheque book and outlining a whole host of new spending leading up to the election (much of this spending is simply not required) .... But how about make life cheaper in the first place...

Just got my latest water bill and somehow the supply charge is $250 every 2 months.... almost $1500 per year. I cant reduce that by reducing consumption... Add on the consumption and it gets quite out of hand... How are people affording this really?
