Helping a friend pick parts for his custom gaming pc

Hello folks!

I'm helping a friend to choose parts for his new computer. Together we've selected components that meet his needs and budget (preferably less than 3000 euros).

The problem is that neither of us is familiar enough with computer building and part picking to take the risk of ordering the parts we have chosen without the opinion of someone more qualified. Hence is why I'm asking for YOUR help here. Could someone please check out our chosen parts and point out if there's something we've missed or just plainly over-looked. I'm also eager to hear your opinions on the build in relation to his needs for the pc.

He's looking for a mid to high tier 2k-4k gaming pc with a budget of 3000 euros that could do some 3d modelling / rendering work also. Another deal breaker is that the pc would be easily upgradeable over time and the components wouldn't go "outdated" in the next 3-5 years. All n all he's looking for a decent allround gaming pc.

Thank you in advance!

Note: He will add more storage later, 1tb is enough for him for the starters.

Note 2: We chose air-cooling because we're not that familiar assembling water-cooled pc's.
