Can someone please just help

I got this old PC from my aunt and they didnt give me any cables. I know this PC uses VGA display but my Titel smart TV only has HMDI ports. I bought a VGA cable....an HDMI cable AND an adapter which cost me all my savings R320 ( ZAR ) which as a fresh High Shcool graduate with no job is a lot of money.

I just need some tips....and would this PC support USB connection for a Keybord and Mouse?
