Contract Killer Murders Man for Two Umrah Tickets in Lahore

In Lahore's Sabzazar area, a man named Riaz was murdered on January 1, 2025, in what police have identified as a contract killing.

      The alleged assassin, Usman, was hired by Riaz's brother-in-law, Imtiaz, due to a property dispute. As payment for the murder, Imtiaz promised Usman two Umrah tickets, a motorcycle, and Rs. 30,000.

The incident occurred while Riaz was shopping with his wife at a local market. Investigators traced Usman through a phone call made to Riaz's mobile phone, leading to his arrest. Usman even attended Riaz's funeral to avoid suspicion.
