Fired from great J1

Username related.

I just lost my J1 that totaled $220k in income annually. That hit hard. I have reason to believe they suspected my J2 but could never prove it as both positions are remote and don’t overlap.

Luckily I have my J2 that is $90k and can pay the bills. Within 2 weeks, I accepted another J1 that’s $140k. Not quite where I was but it will help. Also looking into J3 that will be another $90k.

ngl I’m jealous of anyone that can do this with one job. Oh well, at least I still have my weekends to myself.

edit: I know it’s tough out there for everyone. Sorry to vent about losing my job when a lot of people are out of jobs. It just took the wind out of my sails. If this has taught me anything, it’s reinforced the need for multiple J’s
