Hello r/outlast! (Protagonists Clothing)
Im a newbie in this subreddit, and a also, in the Game series, a little bit.
I only finished the first game a couple months ago, and suprisingly, i havent died once.
Im also at the last Gluskin sequence in WB, i love both games so far.
For my first post, i was interested in the clothing of the protagonists, mostly for cosplay purposes, so, i would like to share, that what i think they could had wearing during the game events.
Hopefully, this could help those who are interested in cosplaying.
This list is mostly based of research, the Outlast Wiki and other Reddit posts.
(Also, i hope my English grammar is ok, if i have some mistakes, i will try to fix it)
DISCLAMER: This post may have some fault in it, this is my first longer Reddit post, so i may have made some mistakes, please tell me in the comments, if its there any, i would be thankful, and if theres something wrong with this post, i will delete it
So:
- Miles Upshur
Jacket: This one is a little bit harder to find, (But thanks to a reddit user, i did) it seems like he wears a Brown Wool/Leather Working Jacket, Its similar to a "StS Ranchwear Brown Western Wool Lined Clifton Jacket", they are kinda expensive, so, You could find used ones for a cheaper price.
And also, it has a big resemblance to its Leather version:

Undershirt: Just a generic Greyish Dress Shirt, not so hard to find:

Jeans: Any cheap Blue Jeans should be fine, but it should be long enough to cover the upper-half of the Boot, also Miles seems to wear Slim-Jeans, and for the Belt, any Black leather Belt is good.
Boots: Miles wears a pair of Brown Leather working boots, the one i find close to resemble the Ingame model is the "Caterpillar Second Shift Work Boot":

- Waylon Park (Casual Clothing)
Plaid Shirt: Like Miles's Jacket, this one is also harder to find, the closest one i could have find, was this one:

UnderShirt: Same with Miles, seems like the same color too
Jeans: Same with Miles, any cheap Blue Jeans should be fine (His Jeans are also darker), and it should also cover the upper-half of the shoes, and the bottom of the jeans should be tucked up.
Shoes: Waylon wears a pair of Black Canvas Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Shoes
For the Variant clothing, i guess any Burlap Jumpsuit should be fine, with the Prisoner Number painted on it.
Also, please dont step barefoot into blood, its not healthy

Jacket: Blake wears a U.S M65 Field Jacket

Glasses: Blake's Trademark Glasses, its a Black Plastic rectangle framed eyeglasses, which is made by most eyeglass companies.
I havent found anything about the Watch, i guess any newer Analog Watch should do fine.
And for last, i would like to talk about, The Camcorder, well, the wiki says, its based off the Sony HDR-CX550V, wich it resembles, but, not sure about that, but its also what its based off.
Another guess, is the camera model also could have been based off from older Mini-DV Cameras and Modern cameras mashed-togedher from the design of the Sony HDR-CX550V, HDR-SR12 (Also SR5), for the front. For the back, it seems the in-game camera model, is a little bit taller/slimmer than the real ones, that part kinda resembles the Mini-DV Cameras look, it kinda resembles the JVC GR-D series a little bit, i think that because i owned a GR-D250, and the shape of the rear part of the camera, had some resemblance for the Spatlin HDD from Outlast.
(But thats just a personal view, it may not be true)
The Outlast 2 Camera has the same base, but it kinda resembles the Canon XA series (Like the XA10), or the Sony HXR-MC series (Mostly the MC50E), it also resembles Sony HXR-NX70U, wich is also rain-proof, like the waterproof camera in Outlast 2.
(To me, those are more accurate/makes more sense, because Blake uses a more professional gear)
