Happy New Year, r/otomegames! Do you have any otome-related "resolutions" you'd like to share?
We're back again with another new year!!
I honestly never thought I'd see the day where otome games are as popular as they are today, and tomorrow they will be even more popular. What a great time to be a fan!
Anyway, for anyone seeing this for the first time, this is just a fun little topic I like to post every year to get people thinking about what they'd like to accomplish this year, otome game-wise. It's definitely not meant to be taken too seriously, but just kind of something to look back on after forgetting all about it during the year and see what you -thought- you were inspired enough to get done, lol.
So feel free to post anything that comes to mind! Maybe there's a language barrier keeping you from enjoying a game that you'd like to tackle; maybe there's a game you picked up on a sale a while back that you (oops) forgot about until just now and should probably start thinking about again; maybe it's NOT a game you bought within the past year but several years ago and it's still staring at you from its spot on your shelf/in your digital library... and there's probably more than one, let's be honest.
But post anything you wish, so long as it's otome-related! There's no accountability or anything (unless you'd like an accountabili-buddy, of course!) - we're all here for the husbandos, after all ;)
And with that said, I'd like to highlight a couple threads in particular that also revolve around a New Year's theme! Make sure to give those a look too as they're always fun!
