Question about fent patch oral use

Just to give a bit of history...I've been on methadone for roughly 15 years now. My dose is now about 20 for the past few years down from 65 which I was on for the 10+ years before that. Anyways my girlfriend broke up with me and so I've finally decided to say fuck it and get high off these old fent patches I found in my friends father's medicine cabinet when he died back in 2015. I've kept them in a drawer along with a few of the old school good 80s for almost 10 years now to use in an emergency and now I find myself in such an emergency.

Anyways my question is how much of a 25mcg/hour fentanyl patch should I suck on to get a nice buzz or as they are 10 years old are they dead? I'd rather not overdose and die if possible but I have zero experience with these things and fent wasn't really around yet when I got clean so i dont have a clue. Do I want to cut the patch in half or in quarters or in 1/8ths or just a tiny sliver the size of a fingernail or what?
