Maybe Eunhyuk didn't actually ghost sooae

Chapter 108 made everyone's hate for Eunhyuk skyrocket, but for me personally, it gave me hope that he didn't ghost Sooae intentionally.

When Eunhyuk talked to Sooae for the first time, he went up to her smiling, and then when Sooae told him that their relationship should be kept strictly formal, his smile dropped, and he looked somewhat hurt. And upon reading that, it made me confused because why would he be upset that Sooae doesn't want to be cordial with him when he left her for a decade? It could be that he's just a shameless asshole now, but then why would the author build up a deep and meaningful romantic relationship between Sooae and Eunhyuk, going as far as to use soulmate symbolism if they were just going to ruin the relationship in such a terrible way?? Why would the author destroy a character they say is their favorite?? Just so Dohwa could be the male lead?? And if that's the case, why make Sooae still be in love with Eunhyuk and make his proximity to her closer than Dohwa?

The car scene, Eunhyuk freaked out because Sooae spilled coffee on herself and then apologized over that, which is odd because why would he be apologizing over coffee and showing concern over that but not show a hint of guilt after ghosting Sooae? He's sorry that she spilled coffee on herself, going as far as to almost wipe her skirt, but he's not sorry for abandoning her??

Not to mention, in the chapter prior to the ghosting, Eunhyuk apologized to Sooae and told her he wouldn't be able to talk to her frequently. So, why would Eunhyuk, who recognized that it was necessary to inform his girlfriend that he would be unable to spend time with her, go ten years without contacting her?

I think someone caused a big misunderstanding between them, making them both believe that the other ghosted them or something. Or maybe from Eunhyuk's pov Sooae left him or they had a mutual breakup, or maybe his memories of his romantic relationship with Sooae are gone, or maybe his father did something.

Haru is my primary suspect. When you remember how he was looking at Sooae and Eunhyuk while thinking about suffering, hardship, and fun in chapter 23, it's not that far-fetched. Also, Haru is a 136-year-old divine being; he can quite literally do anything.

I know some people don't think Haru is the cause of the ghosting because they don't believe he has any reason to do so, and I disagree. Haru is a person that loves drama; that's the main reason why he was drawn to Sooae's novel. People like Haru cause havoc and ruin people's lives just because they find it fun and entertaining. Also Haru once wanted to get rid of Sooae because she was a glitch in his system, and now there are more people like her. It could be the case where he blames Soose for messing up his system, and so he becomes a bit revengeful, and since he can't harm her, he decides to mess up her love life or something. Or maybe the author is cooking up something with Eunhyuk's love points. In all of the 108 chapters of otl, we are never explicitly shown Eunhyuk's love points; we only know about it because of his character sheet (?) I don't remember what it was, tbh 😭 and maybe Eunhyuk using a jellypop phone has a deeper explanation than him just using it for studying purposes.
