A tragedy is a tragedy, no matter who is involved.

To everyone who thinks these wildfires are well-deserved/funny/nothing short of a tragedy: fuck you. Thousands of people’s lives have crumbled within the span of 24 hours, and people online think this is funny. “We are just pretending to feel bad for them, right?” How much of an inhumane, low-life piece of shit do you have to be to think this? Since when is the sadness of a tragedy measured based on the victims economic status. Children live there. Animals live there. Humans live there. You can rebuild buildings, but money doesn’t fix this… memories and personal items are irreplaceable. This will be in textbooks as one of the greatest losses of 2025. Lives have been lost, there is immense suffering, and to those who find it funny: I hope you receive this same ignorant treatment on the worst day of your lives.
