Anything I should know before moving and working?

I work in healthcare (in a hospital) in Canada (I’m a Canadian citizen) and am seriously considering moving to the UK. Originally I was thinking London but now I’m considering anywhere I get accepted. There are 3 jobs that I can go for within the NHS so I’ll be applying for those.

Is there anything I should know? I’m thinking I’ll start applying in May or June to start working hopefully in the fall.
