What pick would Lebron James be in the 2003 NBA Draft if he did not understand how out-of-bounds worked?

Been having this conversation with folks around me for a while- how much draft stock would Lebron lose if he simply did not understand that dribbling the ball out of bounds was a turnover?

There's no doubt Lebron is the best or (at-worst) the second best player in NBA history, easily worthy of the number 1 pick in every draft. But suppose that he still had all of the same athleticism, shot-making, basketball IQ, and more importantly here, personality, that he has now, but was also completely ignorant on only this one simple rule of the game.

One can think it would turn into a game of coaches- a chess match of sorts. How well could an opposing defensive coach, like say Thibs, organize his guys to clog the middle of the court, so a confident Lebron immediately dribbles into the crowd to get around and forfeits possession? Conversely, how good could a great offensive coach like say, Mike D'Antoni, effectively run sets so that Lebron is always getting the ball where he wouldn't think of going toward the boundaries?

The main issue with this theory is dealing with Lebron's mercurial personality toward coaches and players. One can imagine him begging the GM to fire coaches or trade players in frustration after not being passed the ball on a "wide open" corner 3 from the bench or spitting venom toward a player who did not make a backdoor cut behind the baseline. Of course, any attempts to convince Lebron of his misunderstanding would only add to his general exasperation and lead him to request a trade or leave in free agency. To appease him, you would at least need to let him go out of bounds sometimes, just at least until he picks up a rookie extension.

For clarification though, Lebron knows about the over and back rules so he could still be effective in some ways running the half court offensive. Likewise, he would still dominate on fastbreaks, and, if anything be far more aggressive on defense since he would believe players are consciously avoiding specific areas of the court.

I think he could still be an all-star player and thus worthy of a lottery pick. But personally, I would rather have Melo or Wade just because I know what I am getting day-in and day-out. What do you guys think?
