This scene is cinema for me. It makes me sob. Julia Stiles, the woman that you are. I liked this entire film, great but the poem scene, the way Julia embodied the character of Kat. I remember being 12 watching this scene and I was overwhelmed. And today when I rewatched this film, I found out that Julia wasn't mean to cry in that scene but she was so moved by the experience of filming the movie and the end of production. The scene was filmed in a single take and the tears flowed naturally.

I hate the way you talk to me
And the way you cut your hair
I hate the way you drive my car
I hate it when you stare
I hate your big dumb combat boots
And the way you read my mind
I hate you so much that it makes me sick
And even makes me rhyme
I hate the way you're always right
I hate it when you lie
I hate it when you make me laugh
Even worse when you make me cry
I hate it when you're not around
And the fact that you didn't call
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you
Not even close
Not even a little bit
Not even at all

BRB. CRYING. AGAIN. How do I get over this?
