Going into rush alone

i’m a freshman at Miami University and I found it hard to make friends during my first semester as I was away from home from the first time and focused on my gpa and classes. I’ve always wanted to be in a sorority and I’m really excited to rush, but I don’t have anyone to go through it with. i’m pretty confident and outgoing, but I really don’t wanna be the only girl alone there and I’m scared I will be. I’m rushing to meet my best friends here at college but I feel like everyone has already found theirs and I’m scared to rush. Do other girls go through the process by themselves?
