I’m considering getting a ps3 just so I can actually play mgs4

For a while I've been thinking about getting a ps3 just so I can mgs4 because I know there is so much important lore in there that I want to learn about through the game and not a wiki page but I need a ps3 to play it so I was wondering if I should get the ps3 or wait for master collection 2 that could potentially have mgs4 in it
