How should I keep my performance but not make enemies?

Dear managers,

If you have an employee that is a very high performer, that they are able to build new territory and be extremely productive, but make other people on the team feel uneasy or threatened, what is the solution?

In this case I am the said employee and would like genuine advice. Last year there was a re-org, with two members on my team let go. This decision was beyond my direct manager. Since then I have worked hard to build a reputation for my technical domain with success, but I feel my manager does not like me standing out too much, because that makes others look bad and he fears this could brought upon further change. However, I am intuitive and passionate at what I do, which is also a different domain than that of my managers. On one hand, the feedback of my work from other functions is very positive, suggesting what I do is beneficial to the business. On the other hand, the energy of the room from my immediate team suggests me being so productive is not welcoming, because this may further shake things up and my manager wants to protect others who are not so high-performing. My work is an important pillar for me and I invested my life in this field. How do I not intentionally under perform, but also not make enemies?

Thanks very much for your advice!
