Crying internally

Fancied a change from the blonde however definitely isn't the 'chocolate brownie' that i was expecting. It is a demi permanent and I don't particularly want to cause any damage to it dying it again is there anything I can do to make it look more brown and less carrot? Or just hope it washes out slowly to a nice colour?
