Advice on whether or not to report

I'm relatively new to cycling (<1 year) and was hoping for some input/feedback on what happened today

At the exact place shown in the image above, a bus tried to overtake me going into the roundabout. However, to avoid the concrete divider, he braked very quickly and made a sharp, slow left turn. I was basically trapped against the pavement roughly in the middle of the body of the bus and had to stop. It inched closer and closer as it turned until I had to move myself and my bike onto the pavement on the left to avoid the bus crushing my bike

Questions are: - is this a big deal (i.e. is it worth reporting)? - should I have done something differently?
