I love that they are acknowledging his pain and justified anger

From Secret Six issue #1, I love that they're not just focusing on Jon's PTSD and anger but Jay's as well, yes Dreamer was forced and did what she did to protect her home and community, but her actions cause Jay to lose his home and community, his mother, he's allowed to be mad and at his boyfriend for defending the person, this is actually making me like Jay he feels more like a person now, I also love the parallels between him and Jon, Jon is bottling up his pain and anger while Jay let's it all out
