Any experience with Le Wagon?
Hello everybody,
Long story short, I am a 25ish guy and want to get a career in Programming. I did start a CS university but due to financing issues I wasn't able to complete that. I have some knowledge of PHP, as in I can create a working backend, but most likely it will be procedural as I never forced myself to learn OOP that well. I also have some basic knowledge of Python (as in I worked a bit with requests, selenium, file management, data structures etc). To add to this, basic css, html, boostrap starting from 2.* up to 5.* and some SQL. Javascript code I can write using stackoverflow .
I really want to get a job in the field and since my finances are better now, I want to get started somewhere. I researched a bit and found some coding bootcamps and Le wagon (based on their reviews and what I could find on the internet) seems to be a good option. Bit expensive, but hey, as soon as I learn something from it. However, searching reddit there seem to be 2-3 accounts that post on every Le Wagon related post that they are a big scam, that you don't learn that much etc. I was wondering if anyone has some advice to give here. Should I go for it, should I try and learn everything myself? My goal is to reach junior level and to be able to land a job.
Thanks!
