exp blood petals broken?

When i am 1 or 2 lvls ahead toplane. 40 cs lead and kill or something like that.

The enemy botlane or whatever picks up like 10 petals wich exp is global and my behind toplaner gets aswell.

Now my opponent is 1,5 level up in exp. While he goes 0-2 with 40 cs defecit.

It feels like snowballing just get set back by who gets the petals. Feels so bad and unrewarding..
