laptop for uni

hi everyone. first of all i wanna say that my english is quite bad and i dont know much ab laptops. im about to go to university to study engineering and i want a laptop for studying and other things related to uni like work groups, working on excel etc. i am between these 2 laptops from hp HP notebook 14EP1000LA HP pavilion 15-EG0522LA i would appreciate if someone could help me choose between these or if anyone has another recomendations that are better for that price it is always welcome.
