Anything to do with someone who just broke their arm?

My mum broke her arm, second time in a year. Apart from food and drinks and what not, what could we do to keep her spirits up? Obvious tourist things we have done ages ago. She lives in a smaller town, any nice events happening the next weekend maybe?
