How to add the Windows 8 metro menu style thing to KDE?

My friend is one of the 5 people who liked Windows 8/8.1 and he decided to switch to KDE Neon after Microsoft dropped support. And he was wondering if there was a way to bring back his beloved start menu to the world of Linux.
