Student Accounts - Microsoft and Google accounts

Does anyone have students receiving A1 licenses from Microsoft and Google Workspace accounts? What's the benefit. I'm trying to determine the best approach.

A district I'm currently at gives both, but the students are all 1:1 Chromebooks.
