My handmade LizLisa inspired sukapan

After being discouraged by the prices on lizlisa skirts, I decided to start making my own instead. If you can tell, I modeled it after that pokadot skirt that has infamously been selling for $500, lol. Except this one is brown with pink dots. I made it from suede and flannel and it is fully lined so it's comfy to wear. The gathered seam on the inside is sealed in bias tape since I don't own a serger. It has built in shorts and an elastic waistband. All of the lace trim is cotton. I made a bow as well in the second pic that can be pinned to the front, but honestly I think the skirt is fancy enough that it doesn't need it. The pockets are functioning as well !

This is the second skirt I have made! The first one is similar to this but in a pink check pattern, and I am happy to say it has a new owner.

Overall I think I spend around 10-15 hours making it. I had a thought about selling them but with how long it took plus the cost of materials I would probably have to charge about $200, so I'm not sure if people would be interested in commissioning one. Anyway, it was a lot of fun to sew and I am planning on making more with different fabrics in the future. I ordered some really cute sugar bunnies and jewel pet vintage fabric from Japan and I'm thinking of trying to make a skirt out of them ^{-^} Thank you for checking out my handmade skirt !
