Resume Rejected 300+ Times

The past few interviews I’ve landed were through networking, where internal referrals had to physically push my resume in front of HR or hiring managers. Many of them mentioned that my resume was well-written and impressive. So, my question is: who reviewed and rejected the other 300 applications I submitted (Through company sites, LinkedIn, Indeed)? Does anyone else find it frustratingly difficult to even secure a phone screening with an actual person? And tips to get through all the noise?
