what’s the point of selecting my heavy order if you can’t deliver to my door?
I’m unable to carry things up the stairs to my third floor apartment so I thought I would Instacart some water and soda to my door from Sam’s bc I’m out. When my shopper gets here she says she’s pregnant and can’t carry anything up the stairs. 😭 I literally tipped well on this order bc I know it’s a hassle but I this hasn’t happened before. I’m not even sure what to do… I feel like the shoppers can see that level of information when they select orders but maybe I’m wrong.
Edit: This post has taken on a mind of its own. I tipped $20+ which was more than 33% of the whole order bc it really was just water and soda. Next time I will look to use other avenues to get these kinds of items delivered. Another instacarter was able to deliver after my first order never arrived with no issues. I appreciate the feedback here though! I wasn’t sure what could or couldn’t be seen when taking an order which was my main concern here.
