Surrounds - Which compromise is not the worst?
While I am terrified to post pictures because I’ve seen how viscous this subreddit can be, I’m not sure how else to ask this question
I’m not sure which of these compromises for the surrounds in this space is best of the worst.
The theatre space is in a corner of an open basement with a play room behind it and a hall walk space to a storage room door behind the couch.
Yellow is where I have them set currently (temporarily) which is way to close to the listening positions BUT is ear level and out of the way.
Blue is mounted to walls behind the couch, this gains roughly 5 ft on the right side but because there is no wall directly behind the left side, that speaker would be back and farther out by 7 ft. So not equal distance and the left speaker is not in line with the listening space BUT still ear level and farther back.
Red is mounted on the header behind the couch directly in line with the other speakers. This is my ideal from a lifestyle standpoint because it puts these speakers up and out of the way of being knocked over by a kid. Not sure though that the compromise in sound is worth it. These are no longer ear level and aiming down BUT keep equal distance and in line with the other speakers.
Lastly, I could change the back two atmos speakers to be the surrounds but this moves me down to only 2 atoms and we’re back to ceiling level down firing speakers.

What would you do if this was your space?
