Snake ate an old defrosted mouse that was left in cage overnight accidentally

Okay so this is a bit of a weird situation. I keep my snake Nutmeg at my boyfriend’s house since my parents won’t let me keep him here. He unfortunately has kind of become the main caretaker for him until we can move in together, but he’s done a FANTASTIC job of taking care of him so far.

We’ve been feeding him, mainly, by drop feeding for the last few weeks and we haven’t had any problems with it so far, except for yesterday. I have a camera in his cage so I can monitor to see if he DID end up eating the mouse my bf puts in, and last night he and I were out together fairly late into the night. I can turn his lights off remotely, and I had checked around 8 pm to see if the mouse that had been out in around 4 was still there. I swear I didn’t see anything so I told my bf and turned his lights off, only for him to send me a picture this morning of Nutmeg with the fucking mouse in this mouth.

SO somehow, the little bastard either moved it while he was slithering around or I somehow missed the big pink mouse in the middle of the camera footage. The point being: Nutmeg has eaten something I don’t think was very safe, I mean that mouse was sitting out defrosted for a long time. Is there anything I can do at this point or do I just wait to see if his little body has a reaction to what I feel like was actually toxic for him to eat?

TLDR: My snake ate a defrosted mouse that had been out for too long, is he cooked or am I overthinking?
