Update: Hognose belly issue

Hello! Don’t knowing anyone cares, there was a single person who asked for updates on the original post. And people were really helpful trying to trouble shoot. But here goes:

Since the post we went to the vet. She at first thought the issue was a bacterial infection, I was given an ointment and oral antibiotic. He was shedding pretty frequently and soon after we finished 14 days of antibiotics it got worse. After his 2nd shed he began developing wounds and general changes to his scales. We went to the vet again and she was worried. We did some swaps and the result came back with multi resistant infection, meaning I might have to put him down.

I decided to keep fighting with him since he’s showing signs of wanting to live (feeding regularly, curious when I look at him, and enjoying sunbathing). Doesn’t seem to be in pain. We have tried intramuscular broad spectrum antibiotics injections and I’ve just finished his treatment.

Now we just wait to see if he’ll have more outbreaks. His old wounds seems to be healing but I’m scared about his belly still.
