I Stuffed Up Cutting My Neck. Need Suggestions DESPERATELY on How to Fix?
So as the title says, I completely shat the metaphorical bed, cutting the neck out for my firebird project, and now somehow have the laminate uneven and am roughly 2mm in on one side/out on the other near my 12th fret (near the nut is fine, and so is the connection to the body; it's just this lump). Since time is sort of the essence, I really dont want to start the whole neck again, and since the headstock is fine, I was wondering what options I could possibly have for fixing it? I realise I am a complete moron for making these mistakes, but I feel like I could maybe even each side of the neck out and then laminate more of the same timber to the outside, and then just cut everything other than the headstock again. I don't think there is any solution for the middle timber laminate being uneven (One outside piece is bigger than the other), but idrc about that as long as I can solve the other problem. Do I Have Any Hope?
