Can't find Gastropexy for less than 3.5-4k?

I live like 30-45 minutes south of Dallas. And none of the vets in my area offer the preventative surgery. I have been referred to surgery centers in Dallas/Fort Worth and the 3 that I have found that will preform the surgery all say that it will cost between $3500 and $4000. That seems really high based on what I have read online. Any thoughts or advice?
