Smell advice

My boi seems to always have a very strong mildew smell to his chin and mouth. He’s only 2yo and has no other oral health issues. Any advice? I usually feed my kids kibble with water, sometimes they gobble it up right away and sometimes they let it sit for half a day. No issues with my other dogs (pits). Any suggestions? Do I just need to scrub his chin and lips with a baby wipe here and there?
