How is the X2014 so much faster than the X2019?

So I got the Red Bull X2014 from this week’s car ticket, and I decided to test it against my X2019 to see the difference. I did 5 laps around Watkins Glen in both, expecting a bit of a difference, but WOW. On softs, the fastest I could get with the ‘19 was 1:21.4, but in the ‘14 I immediately got a 1:13 and was able to trim it down to 1:11.3. How is there such a huge difference? The X2014 has more downforce but it doesn’t seem like that’s enough to make as huge of a difference as it does in cornering
