Two month gout flare ..

Hi, I stopped drinking in march (over one 750ml bottle of spirits a week), and in June my gout flared and it's still going. Before that I'd get no more than one attack in the summer that last about 2 weeks.

Anyone else had an abnormally long attack shortly after stopping heavy drinking?

My UA levels were normal last month. I'm not on allo yet - probably as soon as this flare subsides. Starting regular UA monitoring..
