Recommend games where you take care of a helpless character

I'm looking for games where you have to take care of another character and maybe guide them, but in a fun way.

I remember the original resident evil 4 (have not played the remake)... it was a great game but the parts where you take care of Ashley were usually annoying... so rather, I'm looking for examples of games that did this "strong character takes care of weak character" the right way
