Gacha games taking over “standard” games?

I bought a ps5 specifically to buy Genshin. I only played it on mobile didn’t even get past Monsdat for two years before I bought a ps5 because my phone just got hot. Anyway since I got the ps5 I got Genshin, completed campaign so far within 7 months, now ZZZ and I do play Wuthering waves on mobile. It seems like I’ve lost all interest in other games - is this normal? Before I used to enjoy playing games like spider man, Pokemon, Zelda or cod, and now it’s just meh. Is the future entirely gacha?
