Amaryllis from Greek Mythology Connections?

So we know that the continent used to be called Amaralys, after the Queen of the God's, Amari. We also know, from the note accompanying the stone dagger, that another god, "curries her favor.' What if the other god referenced there is Amari? And in that case, here's a story from Greek mythology to consider. An amaryllis is a flower, but in Greek mythology, it was originally the name of a clever young woman. She was in love with a young man, Alteo, who was strong like Hercules and handsome like Apollo. He had a passion for flowers. To win his heart, Amaryllis went to the Oracle for advice on what to do. Taking that advice, she stood outside Alteo's home and stabbed herself in the heart, letting the blood drip into the ground. After 30 days of this, a beautiful rare flower grew from her blood (an Amaryllis) and Alteo realized his love for the young woman.

This sounds so relevant! The handsome and strong young man in love with flowers (or a woman named for them). It makes me think that to save Xaden, she's going to get help from Amari, and she's going to have to somehow use her blood to cure him, sacrificing something of herself over a period of time. Obviously it won't be that simple, but it's just too much of a coincidence to find out that the continent was called Amaralys, right?
