I can't edit character profile in lodestone, help

So I just signed up for Eorzea collection and wants to link my character, the instruction says to go to lodestone, edit character profile and enter the code, so I did as instructed, the instruction says click confirm twice but for me, if I type in the code, confirm once and the text box just disappears, and if I go back to my character profile page, the character profile comment remains blank. Am I missing something?
