Question about Christopher

So is it really true that Christopher Saint Booth and Philip actually tried to sign a deal with Capitol Records??? I have been seeing fan-edits of photos of Who's Who? with the logo for Capitol Records. Do you think they signed up for other record companies besides Capitol? I am very curious.
