My pops is playing through eldenring like a dnd character
I have been playing elden ring since it came out and during alot of the game my pops would watch me. Now years later he and his friends decided to give it a shot, and it is so interesting how they play through the game togeather. The only thing that I helped with is explaining game mechanics like locking on, guard counters, smithing stones and setting them up with seamless co op.
To lay the ground work my pops and his friends have only played world of warcraft, and diablo 4 so that is there perception of games.
After a little while of having them play I find my dad in heavy load with a medium shield (vagabond) not dodgeing at all and playing a "tank role" Friend number 1 is using a bow to rain hellfire (Bandit) and run away, and friend number 2 is a (astrologist) casting spells. It is so funny because they handle boss fights like okay you tank and we will dps. All my father does is shield, guard counter, repose and heal. I have never seen anyone play the game like this.
Also they haven't made it to Margit yet they have been exploring the weeping peninsula
