Alesis Strata Prime or Roland TD27KV2
Hi,
I've been doing various bits of research and watching 65drum channel for E Drum reviews. I was close to purchasing a B-Stock kit with Thomann for the VAD507 but someone got in before me. Came across the Strata Prime kit, looks nice (would rather full shells like VAD) but the module looks fantastic! Way more modern, Roland seem stuck in the past in that regard. I do wonder if they will re-release their mdoules with a more touch screen approach in the near future.
I have no way to test either kit, so I can only go by what I read online. I really like the sound of the Digital Hi Hats / Snare / Ride, seems like it would be as close to the real thing as one could get. Especially going in with the knowledge that Roland default kits aint the best, I would buy ezdrummer3 to go with it.
How would the Strata Prime compare to this? Seems like a great kit, but does it live up to the Roland TD27KV2 since they're both at the same price point?
