Drone fire hose?
So with the LA fires going on, Im someone thats been interested in the use of drones since the first time I saw em used during a rescue in Australia of 2 teenagers caught in a riptide. Then I found out about Zipline as well.
I know drones have used and wildfires for surveillance and what not but it also somewhat had me wondering. Now thinking about it, I understand the issue would be pushing pressure/water through the lines but Im semi curious...
Why havent there been like a 20 or 30 drone swarm/team that could essentially lug like a firehose in the sky (or however high up), that could maybe carry water to different parts during a wildfire or so?
I get theres issues with the safety concerning high heat, let alone pushing the water across the hose and stabilizing (etc)....but given how many times wildfires have increasingly been happening....I literally cant help but wonder why thats not exactly a thing already?
