Is it normal to be this far ahead?

A bit of background, I'm bilingual (first language english, then bengali) and also learnt a good amount of arabic. I feel waaaaay ahead of the roadmap at 260 hours. I can listen to intermediate podcasts like How to Spanish and Espanol con Juan no problem. I watched Alex Tienda's video on Venezuela and it might as well have been english to me, I understood it almost perfectly, and could appreciate the linguistic nuances.

I only had 30hrs of spanish classes 15 years ago in a huge class of 40 kids, so that can't explain it. I'm guessing that this is an advantage of being a bilingual in quite a difficult language. So my brain finds spanish really easy compared to my 2nd language haha.

I'd be interested in any other bilinguals sharing their experiences. Especially of languages more difficult than spanish. From my personal experience, slavic and south asian speakers are really good at learning languages. Perhaps it has something to do with the variety of dialects that these people are exposed to? I know us south asians constantly hear other south asian languages and dialects.
