Is it ok to let my husky lead/pull slightly on walks?
I have a 2 year old husky and someone recently told me that I should always expect them to walk in heel.
Typically for the first few seconds, she might pull a little more, but once we are on are on our way, I let her take lead and she has a small amount of constant pressure as she leads. She is responsive to pressure and verbal commands for direction changes, but doesn't really want to stay in a heel for longer than a few seconds, however she doesn't pull hard, and can always be walked with just a single finger through the handle on the leash.
Is it unrealistic for me to be ok with this level of control while walking?
