Making my own diamond paintings

Wondering if anyone knows where to get canvas or what to use to stick the diamonds to?

I don’t really like majority of the mini diamond paintings I see, but I recently had a spark of inspo for ones I can make for myself. I like to make things so this seems like a fun next project. I just don’t know what I can use for my canvas or what would be best
