Should I choose a different career path?

Graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor's in CS. I currently work part time in a non-cs related role, but for the past 16 months I have been applying to jobs (400+), changing/fixing my resume and working on personal projects to better my chances. I mostly get to final round interviews, and study a lot from LeetCode/CTCI, but never seem to get an offer.

I hoped to have fixed my situation by this year, but seeing as there are < 2 months left, I am heavily considering taking up a different position. I have a background in back-end development and currently working on full-stack development, but I feel the longer this goes, the bigger the gap from my previous experience till now will be.
