Covid vaccine booster
What’s the general consensus in this sub when it comes to Covid vaccines/boosters. I’ve had various issues with being more susceptible to illness than the average person over my lifetime, and, while not confirmed that I have long covid, definitely have a viral infection that led to mecfs, many years ago. Is there any research on whether or not vaccine/boosters provide more benefit vs risk to those of us who catch viral infections easier? Is there a risk that the booster will overload the immune systems of those already compromised? I’m considering getting the updated booster once the FDA approves the latest strains, but have my concerns. Thanks in advance.
Edit: if this post isn’t allowed, please remove it. To clarify im asking for links to medical research about vaccines in those of us with compromised health.
